We are a motion design studio specialized in making explanimations. Founders Iris Visser and Sylvia van Schie met during their studies at Art Academy Minerva in Groningen. Both have worked as freelancers in various sectors for years. In 2015 they decided to combine their experience and skills and launched Explanimates.
The best part of our job is that we get to know so many different fields, disciplines and people. We enjoy presenting all this knowledge to a larger audience through our explanimations. We work together with many other creative freelancers, such as copywriters, voice-overs and sound designers. Dedicated people who, like us, aim for the best result and proactively contribute their ideas. For every project, big or small, we assemble the right team and expertise to bring your story to life.
